Epoch Culinary Mode treats history as a set of kitchen constraints rather than a costume. Every era on the timeline carries its own larder, fuel source and equipment: the 1200s carriage has an open hearth, a cauldron and a spice chest but no tomatoes or refined sugar; the 1920s dining car works in the French classical idiom with clarified stocks and precise roasts; the 2100+ cabin synthesises texture and nutrition directly, plating edible light on a levitating chrome disc. Hand the chef your modern basket and the engine rewrites it inside those rules.

Each journey returns a full, cookable dish for two — an era-accurate title, a menu-card description, a quantified ingredient list, numbered steps written for the equipment of the period, macro breakdown, a technique secret and the drink poured alongside. The Historical Dispatch card adds the atmosphere of the carriage in that exact year: the light, the passengers, the landscape sliding past the window, and why the food mattered then.

Signed-in members have every era-recipe filed automatically into their dashboard, complete with the plating visual styled to the century, so a medieval potage and a molecular gastronomy course can sit side by side in the same recipe box. Guests get one free journey before choosing a membership. Rail ambience is entirely optional — toggle the rhythmic track clacking and steam whistle on or off at any time.
